Patio Party: The Patio Party is going strong, more people each week, so come out every Tuesday starting at 4:30 p.m.
Christmas Lights and Decorations: Many thanks to Jim Mulliken, Don Murphy and Bruce Alonzo for taking down the decorations and storing away for another year.

WYLDEWOOD
Daniels Parkway was a two-lane road when Wyldewood was incorporated in August 1984. Two years later, the first condo unit was purchased from the builder, the US Home Corporation. One of the early owners were Paul and Irma Jones. Paul died this past December, a month following his 101st birthday. He was involved in our community, drove to use our pool, and always had a story to tell about his years as a Naval Officer and flying B22 bombers in WW II. Irma died a few years earlier. Paul was not happy that a hurricane was named Irma, a constant reminder of his loss.
The first event in the New Year at Wyldewood was a fun-filled “Welcome Back” party at the pool. Food was provided by Two Meat Balls. A game was played called cardboard. Each guest received a playing card with a chance to win a great door prize. Fifty-two cards are attached to a board. When your card is turned up, it reveals a “price-less” prize or groan depending on what was revealed.
The next event is a Super Bowl tailgate party on Sunday, February 9. Volunteers will cook up gourmet fare to be served along with potluck salads and desserts. In response to popular demand, a Super Bowl pool is planned. A few days later, a Valentine extravaganza will be held at the pool. Bring your sweetheart and/or your wife to this romantic event. We are only in mid-season with more events to look forward to. Look for an update next month.
