The skies were threatening on the courts at cross creek on Saturday, February 28th for the Terrace 1 Bocce Tournament. The 8 teams gathered for the annual event which has been held for several years.
After 3 & 1/2 hours of intense, high-stakes rolling, team 8 consisting of Cindy K., Gus W., Bobbie P., and Mary W., pulled off the win defeating Linda K., Celeste R., Lynn P., and Steve T. of Team 6 in a nail-biting final match 16 – 12. Gus W. was unstoppable with his master rolls.
The judges Dorothy B., Mary Ellen T., Butch J., and Jeff O., had their hands full with the competitive game.
Prizes were given out at the pool in the afternoon during dinner and drinks which consisted of subs, chips, salads, and deserts.
