Member–Member Tournament

  • April 2026

The winners of the David Lander Memorial Member–Member Tournament are Dan Duey and Les Jankowski. The annual Member–Member is a two-day competition, featuring a Best Ball of Two format on the first day and a Two-Man Scramble on the second. Finishing as runner-up’s were Larry Warren and Rich Dean.

The tournament honors David Lander, a seven-time Men’s Club Champion and past Men’s 18 Board member, whose legacy continues to be celebrated through this event.

Following the matches, participants gathered in the clubhouse for a well-deserved luncheon celebration, recognizing both the winners and the strong field of competitors.

Ryder Cup Challenge

The annual Ryder Cup challenge between Cross Creek Men’s 18 and Del Tura Country Club has concluded for another year. The competition features multiple formats, including Best Ball, Alternate Shot, and Match Play. This year’s host was Del Tura, as the clubs alternate hosting duties annually. Last year’s contest at Cross Creek ended in a tie, making this year’s rematch highly anticipated.

Cross Creek entered the competition determined to reclaim the Ryder Cup Trophy and avenge last year’s result. Unfortunately, it was not to be. Cross Creek fell short in both Match Play and Best Ball. It was simply one of those days when putts refused to drop and shots missed their mark by the narrowest margins.

Following play, Del Tura hosted a luncheon where, despite the competitive spirit, players congratulated one another and celebrated the camaraderie that defines this annual tradition.

Next year, Cross Creek will host the Ryder Cup competition and look to capitalize on home-course advantage to bring the trophy back.
