WYLDEWOOD
It was Jersey Mike’s Night at the Wyldewood pool, held in conjunction with their March “Day of Giving.” On that special day, Jersey Mike’s donates all its earnings to a local charity. Thanks to the generosity of our participating members, Wyldewood contributed $311 to Golisano Children’s Hospital.
That same evening, we enjoyed a lively game of card bingo. Each player received thirteen cards and turned them over as the numbers were called. When all their cards were down, the winner proudly shouted “Yahoo!”—while everyone else responded with good-natured jeers.
On a recent beautiful Florida weekend, our proud new grandparents, David and Joann Wipperman, traveled north to Ontario. After navigating customs, long security lines, and arriving in less-than-inviting cold weather, they attended a two-hour birthday celebration for their granddaughter’s first birthday. Now that’s commitment!
As the season ended, it somehow felt shorter than usual. We hope all neighbors traveling back north had safe journeys, and we wish those staying behind a pleasant and cool summer.

Dateline The Verandas
End of Season: Here we are at the end of the season. Patio parties were great, good attendance and the food was out of this world.
Easter brunch: Great turnout and the food gets better each year. Thanks to Janet Murphy, Josie Kadash and Kathy Annarella and the rest of the Committee.
Heading home: We wish all Verandas folks a safe trip back north, hope everyone makes it back safe and healthy, see you all next season.
Dates to remember in May: May 10th Mother’s Day, May 16th Armed Forces Day and May 25th Memorial Day.
