A JULY FOURTH REFLECTION
As fireworks bloom across the sky, And summer breezes gently sigh, We gather close with friends and kin, To celebrate the freedoms we live in.
The flags wave proudly in the sun, A reminder of what has been won, Through courage, hope, and sacrifice, By those who paid a precious price.
Children laugh and sparklers glow, While memories of years ago Remind us how our nation grew, Through dreams both old and ever new.
This day is more than red, white, and blue, It’s gratitude for opportunities too— For neighbors, family, and the chance To live, to grow, and to advance.
So as the evening lights the night, And fireworks paint their brilliant sight, May we cherish freedom’s lasting flame, And honor those who helped it remain.
Happy Fourth of July!
Wishing all our Curior readers a safe, joyful, and memorable Independence Day filled with family, friendship, and gratitude.
